University of Wales Institute Cardiff

Course of the Month

BSc (Hons) Architectural Design & Technology

Professionally accredited by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, our exciting and vocational programmes in Architectural Design and Technology allow graduates to follow a career as a professional architectural technologist; working alongside architects and other construction professionals on the design of new projects, or the refurbishment and repair of existing buildings.

Architectural Technologists are integral to the design team, and may gain responsibility for design management, or even set up practice on their own. A period of professional development following graduation leads to full membership (MCIAT) and status as a Chartered Architectural Technologist.

If you are still interested in making an application for this September, watch our new video above to find out more about the course and what we look for in applicants. We hope to see you in September!
